The Acura Vigor is definitely the type of automobile that tried so hard not to be tagged as luxurious, combining a lot of the finest features of a sports coupe and a touring sedan. This model boasts of several technical wonders particularly its 5-cylinder, 2.5-liter, 20-valve power plant that transmits an intense performance that its 4-cylinder sedans will have a hard time to tone with. But sorry to say that the Vigor GS does not get to the higher level of luxury sedans because its core is too little, inches short from the leading sedans in Houston, Texas have to offer.
But I’m sure that your expectations will be met by the outside features of the Acura Vigor GS. It has an unblemished fit-and-finish that complies with the celebrated Japanese custom. The back fenders and upswept trunk lid is the best part of its rear fashion approach. Efficient and stylish are the words that best describe the interiors of the Acura Vigor GS. Noticeable through the heavily protected steering wheel is a well-arranged instrument panel consists of the tachometer, speedometer, fuel and temperature gauges –every bit of them with white needles and graphics alongside a black background for utmost clearance.

Hello, Steven! Good question that you threw in. Would the people in Texas care to know if the 2009 Acura TL is the most powerful Acura ever built? The classic approach to answer this question is to look at the specification sheets. You can immediately notice that the 2009 Acura TL 5-speed AT can hit about 280 horsepower while its more powerful brother, the 2009 Acura TL-SH-AWD 5-speed AT can do about 305 horsepower at 6300 rpm. Compare that to the 2009 Acura TSX which does 204 horsepower at 7000 rpm and the 2009 Acura RDX’s 240 at 6000 rpm, I can say that the 2009 TL is more powerful than the 2 other cars.
But of course, with that power issue resolved, what else is there in the 2009 Acura TL? It depends on the trim/model you would like. The standard Acura TL 5-speed AT is already an excellent drive according to testers but a lot are amazed with the integration of SH-AWD into the more powerful 305 horsepower variant. I think it’s also an interesting match. By putting in more power, adding Super Handling All Wheel Drive greatly increases control over the vehicle. That’s driving performance for you. For your driving comfort and convenience the Acura TL comes loaded with an assortment of electronic goodies that’s best experienced than told. I suggest that you try to set a test drive with your nearby Acura dealer and experience the car.

Although the Acura has Honda in its genetics, I assure you that the 2009 Acura RDX is no “spruced-up Honda CR-V.” There are a lot of differences that you can check out. I suggest that you do check out the Acura RDX at your local Acura dealer there in Texas. You’d immediately notice that luxury is a standard with an Acura. If you’re planning to buy used Acura vehicle, the line up includes a variety of sedans, sports cars and SUV’s at a wide range of prices. One piece of advice though is that you have to know what specifications would best fit your budget as well as your driving requirements. Since Acura has been known for producing luxury cars, having the older generation line up is actually one of the most practical way of owning an Acura. I myself got indulged with my Acura CL which I purchased from a used car dealer here in Houston, Texas. I made some research on it and found out that it was initially introduced on American market way back 2001. It comes fully furnished with leather upholstery, heated front seats, power sunroof, Xenon headlights, climate control (automatic), and heated mirrors and disc CD changer (in-dash). Brake systems were also great as it has standard anti-lock all disc brakes, traction control and front side airbags. Even the engine is in good shape with the 3.2 liter V6 producing an impressive 225 horsepower. As for updates, one optional extra that you can buy is the in-dash navigation system with touch screen controls
Generally, I am very much satisfied with my Acura CL even if I bought it from a used car dealer. It still runs as if it hasn’t aged for a few years. One Acura SUV that I can recommend is the Acura MDX. It stands for Multi Dimensional Luxury that was based on the Honda Odyssey minivan. I perceive it as one of the biggest competitors in the car based SUV in the market. It is built and equipped with a 3.5 liter V6, 240 horsepower with a five speed automatic transmission. Towing capacity is a formidable 3500 pound trailer or 4500 pound boat. It also comes with standard variable torque management 4 wheel drive that is designed to sense imminent wheel slippage and upon doing so will send 52% of the power to the rear wheels when required. A rear wheel locking device offers maximum traction below 6mph however low gearing is not included. The Touring package which I picked came with optional driver’s seat and mirror memory, and roof rack with the navigation dash system and a touch screen as a factory option. It has a standard 2nd and 3rd row bench seats that are adjustable and can be folded to accommodate more passengers and cargo.
Seating as well as storage included second and third row bench seats as standard that folded into the rear cargo area, both seats are split so sections can be used as required for cargo and luggage. I love the Acura MDX and really proud cruising along the highways of Houston, Texas with it. By the way, before I forget, just in case you get hold one good Acura package, I recommend the insurance deals found on this site.
